We purchased this for a two week trip to Spain in August. It worked perfectly . You soak it in cold water and it lasts at least two days to keep the insulin vials and pens cold ( we found that it was still cold enough after three days of being out and about ) really easy to re activate again by using bottled water that we had put in the freezer ( the tap water in Spain never ran cold )

Perfect size
Although I have not used mine yet, my friend has the smaller size and was really pleased with it, but for my holiday I needed one to store insulin vials and glycogen, and the large size will be perfect
